Barbara Thurston currently resides in Wolfeboro NH with her husband Scott and three children. For the past 9 years she has actively promoted scholastic programs and community service prominent in the New England Area. Currently she is serving as the executive director for the Miss New Hampshire, Massachusetts & Florida National Teenager Program. Barbara is also a certified Miss America judge, and has judged at several local and state competitions across the New England Area over the past 10 years. Barbara has had extensive training in dance, theatre and community service programs. In 1997-98 she was an instructor for Attitudes School of Performing Arts; teaching Precision Tap and Musical Theatre. Currently Barbara is the Chief Operations Officer for Thursty Water Systems; a family owned and operated business to ensure water quality for commercial and residential property. Her true enjoyment in life is spent in her community where she volunteers with organizations such as Boston's First Night, the Sunbridge Nursing Home, and the annual Relay for Life Event. She also enjoys spending time with her family including her 3 children, and watching them participate in various sports and community organizations.

Kristin Thurston is a graduate from the University of Tampa with a BA in Communications where she was actively involved in the Delta Gamma Sorority. She currently resides in Tampa FL.  For the past 7 years, she has served as the co-director and mistress of ceremonies for the Miss New Hampshire & Massachusetts National Teenager Program and has recently become the co-director for the state of Florida. Kristin and her mother Barbara were  honored at the National Level in 2006 as Directors of the Year, and have had the proud honor of having 6 National Queens over the past 7 years as directors. Ms Thurston began her pageant career in 1994 as Miss NH National Pre-Teen and throughout her career captured several titles in the New England Area, and represented NH in the National Teenager Program in 1995 as the Jr. Representative. In 1999 she was crowned Miss NH Teen USA and was featured in the nationally broadcast Miss Teen USA Pageant. Kristin has also had over 10 years of dance training and has performed at Six Flags, Walt Disney World, and Universal Studios. Kristin enjoys volunteering for the American Cancer Society and Boys and Girls Club, traveling, working out, and spending time with her animals.
